Our world faces unprecedented challenges, from climate change to gender inequality and human rights threats. Essential to building just and peaceful societies is investing in youth, especially young women. In South Asia, home to one of the world’s youngest populations, youth leadership strengthens social cohesion, yet economic exclusion and gender-based violence perpetuate cycles of poverty and dependency.

This session convenes regional and international stakeholders to spotlight grassroots youth initiatives advancing gender justice and bridging education-to-employment gaps. It will also examine how impact investing can support social enterprises, vocational training, and locally led solutions that enhance safety, dignity, and opportunity, while fostering cross-sector collaboration to prevent violence and promote inclusive peace.
