Transforming Women’s Lives through Vocational Education
Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls cannot be accomplished in isolation. It requires multi-religious and multi-stakeholder collaboration, bringing together religious and faith actors, civil society, and governmental and intergovernmental entities.
This panel will highlight examples from interfaith community led initiatives, country-wide poverty alleviation projects, and resettlement and up/reskilling for migrant women and girls. The panel will also showcase best practices for creating enabling structures to support women in overcoming systemic barriers, access labor markets, and creating pathways to a sustainable future.
