Hepworth Farms, located in New York’s Hudson Valley, is a 7-generation family farm established in 1818. Today, it encompasses 500 acres of NOFA-certified production land, yielding over 400 varieties of organic vegetables. The farm is co-owned and operated by Amy Hepworth, her twin sister Gail, and Gerry Greco.

AMY HEPWORTH, a Cornell University graduate, has owned and operated Hepworth Farms since 1983. She is also a board member of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of the Hudson Valley Research Lab. Her identical twin sister, GAIL HEPWORTH, is a biomedical engineer who joined Hepworth Farms in 2009 as Head of Production.

Tea Mountain: A Life Steeped in Gratitude introduces us to farmer Zhonghou Chen, who produces Jing Si Tea in Sanyi, Taiwan. Despite a life-threatening medical condition, he is determined to make his organic farming venture flourish. Will his efforts, and those of his family, his colleagues, and his fellow Tzu Chi volunteers, set the farm on a path where it can prosper for generations to come?
