The Tzu Chi Center for Compassionate Relief invites you to the grand opening of an interactive multimedia exhibit in New York City
According to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), 1 in 78 people have been forced to flee their homes due to war, conflict, famine, and more. Through stunning photos and videos, “Uprooted: Compassion After Displacement,” seeks to illuminate the positive impact that the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation has had on those seeking refuge in new homes around the world. The exhibition also features hand-drawn artwork by child refugees from Syria, with each piece telling its own unique story.
As such, we invite you to join us at the Tzu Chi Center for Compassionate Relief in New York City on June 13, 2023 as we unveil this multimedia exhibit to the public for the first time. Enjoy vivid remarks from guest speakers from partner organizations, Tzu Chi volunteer Faisal Hu from the frontlines in Turkey, heartwarming performances, followed by a guided tour and a plant-based lunch.
Explore our exhibition and inspire the compassion within.
