We are Mother Earth and Mother Earth is us. When we are disconnected from this relationship and out of balance with Nature, we tend to turn to polarized, fear-based, anxiety-driven action causing intentional and unintentional harm to ourselves, each other and our planet. This mini-retreat for stakeholders features AHAM Education’s documentary Healing People Heal the Planet and an reflective exploration of how a gender-informed, healing-centered “eco-affinity” lens can serve as a catalyst for sustainable, nature-positive, nonviolent and transformative outcomes for people and planet.
A panel of youth, BIPOC, indigenous and faith leaders from the Americas will guide our multi-stakeholder audience in restorative, nature-centered, mindful SDG action-planning to co-create and integrate sustainable, gender-informed policy and program practices in harmony with nature that address root causes of environmental stressors, gender and socio-economic injustices in our communities. Our aim is to bravely lead change from the inside out with all voices at the table in our respective worlds of influence.
This event will also be broadcast on zoom. The call information is as follows:
