Launched in 2003, Open House New York Weekend is an annual festival that opens hundreds of noteworthy or significant places across the five boroughs to foster discovery and delight for New Yorkers and visitors alike.
Tzu Chi Center partner in the weekend to reach new audiences, educate the public about our organization and space, connect with a broad community of Partner organizations, and remind the world that openness and access are defining characteristics of New York City.
Programs and activities
“Uprooted: Compassion After Displacement"
Uprooted: Compassion After Displacement” Exhibition: 30-minute in-person guided tours will be offered first-come, first-served at 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 2:30pm, though visitors are welcome to explore the Center on their own.
Tea Ceremony
A participatory tea ceremony will be offered at 11am, 1pm, and 2pm.
Flower arrangement
Sessions will be held at 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 2:30pm.
